School house. Early C18. Rear wing C19. Brick with gabled
plain tile roof. Brick plinth, cogged and rebated eaves, 2 coped
gables with kneelers. 2 ridge, single gable and single side wall
stacks. 2 storeys, 2 bays. L-plan. Main south front has off-
centre Artisan Mannerist rusticated brick doorcase with
dentillated round head and kneelers, containing moulded panelled
door. Above door, blocked round opening. Flanked by single
glazing bar sashes with segmental heads. Above, 2 C19 gabled
cross eaves dormers each with a Yorkshire sash with segmental
head. East gable has to left large door with overlight, and to
right, a glazing bar sash, both with segmental heads. Above, a
small casement. North side has a blocked opening. Rear wing has
to east, an off-centre plank door flanked to left by a casement
and to right by a Yorkshire sash, all with segmental heads. To
right again, C20 lean-to addition with a plank door. Above, 2
Yorkshire sashes.
