Farmhouse. C16. Remodelled C18. C19 and C20 alterations.
Timber framed and brick, with brick nogging and steep pitched
pantile roofs. Some dentillated eaves, single gable and single
ridge stacks. 2 storeys, 5 bays, single range in 3 sections of
different heights. East front has to left a single storey lean-
to addition with pantile roof and a plank door. To its right,
C20 door flanked by single casements with segmental heads. To
right again, 2 small glazing bar lights, and to right again, 2
C20 casements. Above, to left, a casement with segmental head,
and to its right, a small casement. To right again, 2 sloping
dormers with Yorkshire sashes. South gable has to left,
casement with segmental head, and above, a single casement. Rear
elevation has irregular fenestration with 4 casements and a
Yorkshire sash, and above, 2 casements, asmall light and a
Yorkshire sash. North gable has C20 door to left and C20
casement to right. Above, 2 C20 casements. Refronted central
section contains 2 bays of timber framing with 2 jowled bay
posts, heavy tie beams and collar with curved brace. C16 roof
with posts and struts to spine beam, and collars. Interior has
chamfered span beams and joists, stud partition, C17 plank door
in roof space, framed panelled C17 door with reeded band, 4 C18
panelled doors, single C18 plank door.
