House. C17, restored mid-C20. Timber-framed, rendered and painted brick
infill, brick replacement walling, thatched roof, half-hipped at west gable
end and brick ridge stack. Three framed bays, single storey and attic with
dormer. Framing: three panels from sill to wall-plate, short straight braces
in upper corners, collar and tie-beam truss with two struts at east gable end,
truss at west gable end rebuilt mid-C20. Windows are C20 casements.
North front elevation has two 2-light windows at ground floor level and a
central eyebrow dormer cut into the thatch with a 2-light window; beneath the
dormer is the main entrance having a ledged and battened door with plank
weatherings above. Attic lights in gable end. Interior not inspected. A C20
T-shaped single-storey brick addition adjoins the west gable end.
