Chest tomb and enclosing railings for William Merrick, died 1824. Chest tomb:
sandstone ashlar, deep moulded base, hipped capping with moulded edges and
rectangular side panels, flanked by fluted pilasters. Railings: wrought
iron with twisted spear-head bars, central urn-finial to north and plain
rails, possibly 1845 when Merrick's wife, Elizabeth, died.
