Chapel to the Royal South Hampshire Hospital

A Grade II Listed Building in Southampton, City of Southampton

The east end of the chapel

Uploader's Comments

In both the east and west walls unsympathetic windows and a doorway were inserted into the stonework using modern ugly materials. Where the lower level of the hospital ward adjoined the chapel the ward was demolished c1995 and black breeze blocks used to infill. This is completely out of keeping with its grade II listing.
