Methodist church. Mid-C19. Red brick with purple brick plinth, pilaster quoins, window and door dressings and hood moulds, and dentilled moulded cornice on corbel brackets. Plain tile roof. 2 storeys and garret. 2 window front, shifted slightly to the left; Gothic-glazed casements in cast iron, in dressed round-arched surrounds with key blocks and hood moulds. 2 doorways to right of each window bay, that to the left blocked, and that to the right with 4-panelled door. Round arched surrounds to both doorways both containing decorated fanlights and both with steeply gabled hoods topped by roll-mouldings with inscribed crosses. (Photo Apr 2010).
