Cider press, now disused. Late C18. Regularly coursed and dressed sandstone blocks with red brick to first noon of gable ends; graded slate roof. One storey and gable-lit loft. Round-arched windows with brick heads to long sides and segmental-headed openings to loft in gable ends. Entrance in gable end through elliptical arch with projecting keystone to stone lintel.

INTERIOR: stone press survives complete with circular grooved base; housing for circular screw in floor of loft, which was formerly continuous but is now missing to centre. Single-purlin roof in three bays has two queen-post trusses, one with curved principals.

Screw for press situated in garden of Rowley (NGR. SJ 3455 2603) at time of resurvey (May 1986). Rowley is not included in this list.
