House in row. Late C18. Local stone cut and squared; clay pantiled roof between stepped coped gables; brick and stone
chimney stacks. Two storeys, 3 bays. Sash windows of 16-panes in plain openings with dovetailed stone lintols; central
C20 6-panel door, with open portico having Doric columns and simplifield entablature. Interior not seen. On south gable
a lean-to garage with 3 centre arched doorway; and 2 metres east of house, enclosing small garden, railings having
square rods with necked arrowhead finials, with turned urn finails to standards, set on low stone plinth, matching
gate; all contributing to setting of house.
