Former hospital, now a house. 1820, refenestrated late C19.
Brick, partly rendered, with hipped slate roofs. Rubble plinth,
2 gable, 2 ridge and 2 lateral brick stacks. 2 storeys, 5 bays.
Front has projecting pedimented 3 bay centre with 3 tall round
recesses containing central 6 panel door with segmental head and
barred overlight, flanked on each side by 2 canted hipped bay
windows, each with 3 plain sashes. Above, 5 unusual 5 light
casements with segmental heads. Rear has 2 gables and regular
fenestration with casements with segmental heads. Knossington
Hospital was founded in 1711 and rebuilt in 1820.
