Detached house. Later C18, possibly on earlier foundations. Cary stone ashlar facade
with Doulting dressings, otherwise coursed rubble over ashlar plinth; asbestos cement
slate roof between coped gables; rendered chimney stacks. Two storeys with attic,
5 bays. Large 16-pane sash windows in plain openings with voussoired flat heads;
to lower bay 4 a 6-panelled door set in semi-circular arched doorway under cast-iron
fanlight; arch has moulded imposts and arch architrave, all flanked by attached Doric
columns carrying full entablature with triglyphs, metopes, etc. and pedimented hood.
On west gable later windows, but basement plinth has a 2-light chamfer-mullioned window
without label and a C18 studded boarded door with iron barred open fanlight over. Interior not seen.
