Estate lodge. Circa 1802, probably by John Nash with small mid- to late
C19 addition at rear. Red brick and hipped slate roof. Y-plan; 3 wings
projecting from hexagonal core. 2 storeys. Plinth, painted projecting
eaves; rendered stack at rear and integral brick corner stack to north-
west wing. 2-light segmental-headed wooden casements to core and wings,
those on ground floor renewed in late C20 with straight heads; half-
glazed C20 door in southern wing. Included as a rare example of a most
unusual Y-plan lodge, another example being Tern Lodge (q.v.), also in
this parish.
