metres to west of Cronkhill

Coach house and stable block, now partly garage. Probably late C18 or early
C19. Red brick (monk bond); deep eaves to hipped slate roofs. Central
2-storey block with flanking set-back one-storey wings. North front: central
block: integral brick end stack to right. Three bays; 2-light first-floor
casements; ground-floor segmental-headed wooden cross-window to left and
boarded door to right with segmental-headed 2-part overlight; central
porch with parapeted gable and pair of large boarded doors under a
segmental head. Left-hand stable block with segmental-headed wooden cross-
window to left and segmental-headed doorway to right (door missing at
time of resurvey). Right-hand stable range has segmental-headed recess
to right with 2-light window, blocked doorway to left with inserted 2-
light window, and central segmental-headed 2-leaf boarded door. Rear of
central block of 3 bays with boarded loft door to right and cast iron
hoist. 2 boarded garage doors in right-hand return front. Short section
of wall adjoining to east with quadrant curve to the south, approximately
3 metres high with stone coping; blocked segmental-headed doorway to west.
Interior: left-hand stable wing contains stalls with curved-topped
dividers and octagonal posts with globe finials, and hay racks; loose
box to right. These buildings adjoin a complete early and mid-C19 model
