Late C16. Ashlar; 2 storeys plus attics; 2 angular (five-sided) bays
over two storeys, with continuous mullioned and transomed windows above
and below; 5 gables, each with six-light mullioned and transomed windows;
square 2 storey porch containing plain entrance arch; 5 stacks with diagonal
brick shafts. Interior: contains an excellent enriched staircase and
panelled room with moulded plaster ceiling the latter C17. A National
Trust property.
