2 houses, now one house. C18/early C19. A small, 2 storeys,
rectangular plastered brick house with steep hipped roof with
eaves overhanging, now covered in slates. Double-pile plan -
origin as 2 mill cottages with end staircases and 2 red brick
central chimneys, S front has 2 recessed sash windows on each
floor. Set back on E end a lower 2 storeys plastered wing with
hipped slate roof and a chimney in the middle of its N wall.
Central flush box sash windows on S. Entrances on N side where
windows are 2-light casements with cast iron frames with 4 small
panes. Small modern extensions and porch on N and NW not of
special interest. The original interior layout can still be
traced. A picturesque plastered house, part of a group with
Hunsdon Mill House. Included for group value.
