Bank. Circa 1840. Stucco with 2-span slate roof. 2 storeys. Plinth,
ground floor with channelled rustication, ground floor cill string,
first floor cill cornice, bracketed eaves cornice, and twin triangular
pedimented gable ends. 5 bays; glazing bar sashes, first floor to right
blind, and those on ground floor with plate glass lower leafs, channelled
voussoirs, and projecting keystones with vermiculated rustication. Central
projecting 3 bay, 2 storey flat bay with rounded corners. Pilasters on
each floor; those on ground floor with frieze and cornice breaking forward
with wreaths, those on first floor with applied lion masks and wreaths,
supporting frieze, cornice, and blocking course with raised centre. Central
round-arched first floor windows flanked by 2 blind arched windows; 2 ground
floor round-arched windows with blank panels beneath flanking central round-
arched entrance with 8-panelled door and projecting keystone with vermiculated
rustication. Half glazed door within porch. North front: 3 bays; outer bays
projecting with triangular pedimented gables above. Central 6-panelled door
with wreathed radial fanlight, and possibly introduced C18 doorcase consisting
of unfluted three-quarter Doric columns, triglyph frieze and open triangular
pediment.
