House. C17, renovated in early C19 and mid C20. Timber frame on
plastered sill, roughcast. S gable weatherboarded above plastered brick
renewal of lower part. Steep pitched roof now of modern slates. Gabled
tiled porch. A 2-storeys, 3-cells, internal chimney plan house facing E,
with chimney a third from S end. Front-wall chimney and irregular
lean-to weatherboarded front extension to N part following curve of
former road along river bank. 3 windows front with small-paned flush
Yorkshire sliding-casements to 1st floor and flush box sash windows to
Gd floor with 8/8 panes. Gabled porch to door. Tall red brick T-shaped
internal chimney, top rebuilt in C18.
