Farmhouse. Mid-late C17. C18 red brick ground floor, upper
floor in C20 roughcast and half timber. Steep pitched plain tile
roof. 2 storeys and attics. Ridge has central red brick stack
with 4 joined shafts. Lobby entrance plan, door formerly on E
side. Part of original staircase behind stack remains on 1st
floor. Externally it retains small ground and 1st floor 2-light
casements with diamond mullions. C20 casements either side and
to front elevation. Later C17 single storey outbuilding adjoins
on S side. Adjoining this on the W is a C17-18 single storey
timber frame barn with weatherboarding and plain tile roof. 3
bays. Brick and flint base. Adjoining on NW is a C18 barn with
red brick walling and weatherboarded gables. Plain tile clasped
purlin roof.
