ALBURY
ALBURY LODGE ESTATE
Albury Lodge House
(formerly listed as Albury Lodge)
II
Originally an early C17 timber-framed and plastered E-shaped building. Much
altered in C19 and in recent years. The east front has end cross wings and there
are two gables to the main block. The whole building is faced in red brick. The
windows are modern. The west side is now the front, and there are a number of
small modern gabled wings. At the junction of the main block and the north wing
is an original chimney stack with the shafts set diagonally. Entirely rearranged
internally.
