Garden wall. Late C17, altered c.1885. Red brick with grey sandstone
ashlar dressings. L-plan. Approximately 200 metres long, running
alongside the road and returning to the west at the north end to adjoin
Albrighton Hall (q.v.). Chamfered stone plinth and stepped chamfered
stone coping. Square ashlar pier at south end with chamfered rustication,
moulded cornice, and chamfered cap (minus globe finial). Boarded door in
retrurn to north with chamfered stone reveals. Gateway formed or widened
to the north c.1885, flanked by square brick gate piers, each with chamfered
stone plinth, moulded stone cornice and globe finial. Included for group
value.
