1906 by M H Baillie-Scott. Characteristic of this architect's best small
houses, and hitherto unknown. Picturesque composition with central gable
flanked by deeply-swept roof and stack in gable wall. Hipped tile roofs.
Tall multi-form brick stacks. Central gable with exposed studwork and painted
brick flogging. Roughcast walls. Mullioned casement windows with leaded lights.
At rear 7-light dormer window and 6-light ground floor window. Front entrance
with 4-centred arched doorway of Tudor type with double boarded doors. Porch
at rear. Interior with inglenook and braced-truss dividing the open plan
living space; good joinery and ironmongery.
