shops. 3 bays. Roughcast 1st floor modern tile roof. 2
segmental-headed casement dormers. 1st floor sash windows, 6/6-
pane, triple-hung on S. Reeding and paterae end pilasters and
architraves to windows on N side. Modern dentil cornice. N shop
door with fielded pilasters, paired consoles and Gothic
interlace blind fan. Interior has chamfered and stopped floor
beams, and 2-bay rear extension on N 1st floor (James Vernon)
having Jacobean fireplace with fluted pilaster overmantel, and
figured panels. Coach entrance on S. Probably formerly an inn.
