The Old Bakery

Bakery, now store and garages. Early C19. Local stone cut and squared,
with stretcher bond brickwork having headers every fourth course to
first floor; clay double Roman tiles, plain bargeboarded verges; brick
chimney stack. 2-storeys with one cell each floor, with verandah on
North-west side. Open at ground floor, timber casement above. 2-single
storey extensions on South-west side, one mono- and one dual-pitch
roofs. Interior retains first floor chute for floor also two elm grain
bins; ovens with cast iron doors still in place. An interesting and
fairly complete survival.
