House. C17 or earlier. Timber frame roughcast with stucco
plinth and steep thatched roof. A long, 2-storeys, lobby-entry
house facing E. Large red brick central chimney set axially just
to rear of ridge. Probably a 3-unit plan house with chimney and
lobby entry a third from S end, subsequently extended one bay to
S making front symmetrical. 4 windows to 1st floor and ground
floor. Central boarded door with flat hood on brackets. 2-light
C19 flush casement windows, some 3-Light windows on ground floor.
C20 2-storeys shallow rear extension. Prominent end house of
block. Formerly Nos 3 and 5.
