Tomb chest. c1730. Commemorating members of the Markinfield family.
Limestone ashlar. Oblong on plan approximately one metre x 2 metres and one
metre high. Tomb chest has recessed oval inscription plates to each side.
To corners are cavetto-moulded posts with strapwork decoration and at
diagonals are tapering balusters supporting slab with ovolo-moulded edges.
Inscriptions largely illegible.
