Unidentified chest tomb c 10m west of south-west corner, at Church of St Giles
II*
Chest tomb. Early C18. Limestone. A very rich baroque design with thick cyma mould
top, heavy quarter balusters framing half-cylindrical east and west ends with high
relief carving of putti heads and emblems east, and palm, ring and book, west;
fielded panel north side, and rich cartouche, south. Inscriptions not legible, and
base sunk into ground at time of survey.
An especially splendid memorial in reasonably good condition at time of survey.
