Pair small cottages with shop. C18. Squared and coursed limestone, stone slate
roofs. Main building has gable stacks, and parallel range behind with concrete tile
roof, one bay extension with further gable stack added, right, and small extension,
left with wide door and attached light. All roofs to steep pitch. Two storeys, three
2-light casements under wood lintols at first floor, wide spaced; at ground floor C19
shop front, modern glazed door under ridged stone slate porch and, under central
window, 3-panel part glazed door under similar porch, then 2-light casement on first
floor.
This modest building stands forward from No 49 (q.v.) and forms an important element
in the street group.
