A good early C18 red brick house with a parapet on 4 sides, swept up at the corners
and with a moulded and dentilled brick cornice on the north, east and west fronts.
2 storeys, attics and cellars. The north front has 5 window range and the south,
east and west fronts have 3 window range, double-hung sashes with glazing bars,
in flush cased frames. The north front has a central doorway with a good Doric
doorcase with panelled reveals, fluted columns, a triglyph frieze and a modillion
pediment. Roof tiled, triple pitched, with 2 pedimented dormer windows on the
north, east and west fronts and 1 hipped dormer window on the south front. The
interior has panelled rooms, 1 with a good cornice and there is a good C18 fire
surround. The C18 staircase has cut strings and turned and moulded balusters.
Church of St Mary and the Vicarage with Munnions, Nos 57 to 61 (odd) and 66 to 78 (even)
High Street and Banstreets, Bell Street form a group.
