Originally a C17 timber-framed building, possibly incorporating earlier work, but
much altered in the C18 and C19 and renovated in the C20. The front is of painted
brick. 2 storeys. 4 window range, double-hung sashes with glazing bars, in plain
reveals. The ground storey windows are 3-light and there is a splayed bay at the
north end. Roof tiled, with a C17 chimney stack with grouped diagonal shafts. The
interior has exposed timber-framing. (RCHM 5).
Nos 66 to 78 (even) with 57 to 61 (odd) and Munnions, Banstreets, Bell Street,
the Church of St Mary and the Vicarage Church Street form a group.
