House. Probably mid C18 with later additions and alterations including
extension to left of no special interest. Magnesian limestone rubble with
ashlar dressings and cast-tile roof. Originally T-shaped on plan with later
infill. 2 storeys, 3 bays. Quoins. Original entrance to right gable end,
a C20 door within renewed surround. Main facade, ground floor: 3-light
mullion windows to outer bays with central single-light window all within
ashlar surrounds and with C20 multi-paned casements. First-floor band.
First floor: outer bays have 3-light thermal windows within renewed ashlar
surrounds, round-arched central window within ashlar surround, all with C20
multi-paned casements. Swept roof, ashlar coping, rear stack. First-floor
bands continue round gable ends. Bands to eaves level on gables. To rear a
similar 3-light rectangular and thermal window.
