Farmhouse. Said to be 1643, with C18 and C19 alterations. Squared rubble
stone on chamfered plinth. Pantile roof. Rebuilt brick stacks. 3-cell,
direct-entry plan with C19 service outshut to right and rear. 2-storey and
attic, 3-window front. Central doorway has chamfered stone surround and a
triangular head with a C19 gabled porch. To each side, 3-light windows with
chamfered mullions, and fire windows at each end. Above, 2-light C20
casements in original openings replace former mullions. Chamfered coping and
cyma moulded kneelers to roof. C20 dormers and end stacks. To interior:
exposed quarter-round moulded beams throughout the ground floor. Room to
right has segmental-arched fireplace. On first floor 2 C17 beams have been
re-used with C19 beams to bedroom to left. C18 door beside attic staircase.
