Farmhouse, probably 1666 (on porch). Rubble, stone slate roof. Quoins. The
front shows three bays and an entrance marked by a two-storey porch. the right
hand bay has become a garage, entered from the rear, but to the front the
openings are intact, with double chamfered stone mullion windows of five lights
with hoodmoulds. The first floor has five 2-light windows without hoodmoulds.
the porch has a straight-headed chamfered doorway the lintel of which is
inscribed 1666 (but has been read as 1606). Above this is an oversailing cyma
course carrying another 2-light window, a small coped gable and ball finial.
The rear has one 3-light double chamfered window and a rear wing with two old
small lights which may indicate that it is contemporary. Two stacks, the one on
the left external and with two chamfered fireplaces.
