House, probably for Station Master. 1876. For the Midland Railway, J C Crossley,
Engineer. Rock-faced stone and slate roof. Simple cruciform building with steep
gables. Two storeys. Roughly cruciform composition with steeply gabled facades.
Windows with segmental heads and mostly altered glazing. Central moulded chimney
stacks. Included for group value.
