Hipped tile roofing, brick dentil eaves to one part, 4 modern hipped roofed dormers above the oldest block (with cills at eaves level). Red brick walling in English; one attached block is completely tile-hung and there is another small section of first floor tile-hanging. Casements. The C18 block on the north side has 2 original sash eindows, and a doorway with a moulded canopy, architrave and 6-panelled door. Other doors are plain, one with an old canopy. The malthouse section is surmounted by a tile-hung circular oast vent, now with a glazed conical top.
