House. Early-mid C19 house added onto and offset from late C18 farmhouse.
Chamfered banded rusticated ashlar. 2 storeys, 3 bays, the central bay
projecting slightly. Plinth. Central (4-panel part-glazed door behind porch
brought from Halnaby Hall: 2 Roman Doric columns in front and pilasters
behind with Tuscan frieze, dentil cornice and blocking. First-floor band.
16-pane sash windows. Dentil cornice. Parapet to flat roof. Corniced
stacks between the bays. Rear: C18 round-arched landing window. Left
return, front range: dressed coursed stone, 1 bay of blind windows. Right
return: matching front stonework, 1 bay of windows.
