Wrongly shown on O.S. map as King's Farm Cottages. House. C17, altered in C18
and c.1900. Timber framed, plastered, roofed with handmade red clay tiles. 3
bays facing NE with axial chimney stack at left end and C19 external stack at
right end. C18 extension of 2 bays to left, with end stack, and single-storey
extension beyond with hipped roof, c.1900. 2 lean-to extensions to rear, one
roofed with machine-made red clay tiles, and car port. Original range of one
storey with attics, left extension of 2 storeys. 2 pairs of french windows,
early C20, and 4 C20 casement windows. On first floor 4 more, of which 2 are in
gabled dormers. The interior has axial beams with lamb's tongue stops, and
others boxed in. Most of the frame is covered. Large hearths reduced for coal
grates.
