Shop, house and forge. Early C19 with minor late C19
alterations. Coursed squared limestone rubble with red brick
dressings. Pantile roofs with 2 gable and single ridge red brick
stacks. The 2 storey, 3 bay house has brick dentillated eaves
course and a central red brick late C19 gabled porch with slate
roof and bargeboard. To the right is a plain sash and to left an
opening with shutter and a single top hung window. To first
floor is a central glazing bar sliding sash flanked by single
plain sashes. The single storey forge has C20 planked double
doors with to left a glazing bar sash. All window openings have
red brick segmental arches. Listed for group value only.
