and 2 pumps

House and 2 pumps. Early C19. Squared limestone rubble with
hipped slate roof with lead dressings and 3 ridge yellow brick
stacks. 2 storey 3 bay front with bracketed eaves. Central 6
panelled door with 3 paned overlight flanked by single glazing
bar sashes. To first floor are 3 similar windows. All openings
have splayed segmental heads. Interior has contemporary
fireplace surrounds in principal rooms, with circles in the
angles and decorative cast iron grates. At the rear and side are
C19 water pumps in wooden casings with lever handles, lead spouts
and stone troughs. Built as The Dower House to Hackthorn Hall.
