Mill House
II
Mill house. Early and late C18. Restored and extended mid-late C20. Timber
framed plaster rendered. The bay at the east end remains from the original
mill house. Tiled, mansard roof, half hipped to east end. Red brick stack,
partly rebuilt. Two storeys and attic. Two casements on south side with
sham framing at first floor. Late in C18 the part to the west was rebuilt.
Timber framed and plaster rendered with tiled roof and end stack. One-storey
and attic. Two hipped dormers. Two C19 three-light casements in either side
of doorway. The mill was mostly destroyed in a fire in the 1920s.
