Public House, late C17th, altered. Slobbered rubble with asbestos sheet roof
replacing thatch. 2 storeys, 3 bays. A straight joint (terminating above the
ground floor) suggests that the left-hand bay may be later. It has windows
with plain stone surrounds. The 2 other bays have a drip course cut through
by the ground-floor windows, which have plain stone surrounds, On the 1st
floor they have 3-light rebated and chamfered mullioned windows. The door,
between the 2nd and 3rd bay, has a cyma-moulded surround with battlemented
lintel. Gables have chimneys and copings.
