Pair of houses, late C17th. Slobbered rubble with roof of slate at front and
stone slate at rear. 2 storeys. Windows mullioned, with rebate and chamfer.
No.1, at the left, of 3 bays. Windows to bays one and 2 of 3 lights. Bay 3
has one of 2 lights on the 1st floor and a surround with mullions removed
below. The door, between bays one and 2, has a chamfered surround with
Tudor-arched head. No.2 is of one bay and has 3-light windows. The door, at
the left, has plain reveals. A continuous drip course rises over the doors to
both houses. Chimneys on gables and between houses. Right-hand gable has
coping with kneeler. Interior has exposed ceiling joists, with 2 large
chamfered axial main joists in each room.
