Public road bridge over the Lancaster Canal, late C18th, John Rennie
engineer. Sandstone ashlar. Tall, with single elliptical arch. Sides
battered and concave on plan. Arch has impost band and triple keystone.
String course below solid parapet with rounded top. Flanked by attached round
piers.
