Barn with added outshut housing stable, pigsty and privy. Probably later
C17 or early C18 with later additions. Coursed thin sandstone rubble,
stone slate roof. Two bays, with outshut added on each side of north bay.
West side to road has small blocked doorway offset right of centre, a slit
breather to the right and 3 above. East side (entrance front) has square
wagon entrance, and to right of this an outshut under a catslide roof, with
a pigsty and slab-walled pen. South gable has slit breathers on 2 levels,
and a round pitching hole lined with brick; north gable has two doors, one
altered as a window, and side of outshut has a stable door and a privy
door. Interior: kingpost roof truss. Included for group value.
