House, early C18 enlarged mid C19. Brick, plaster rendered with
steeply pitched tiled roof and end stacks, one with rebuilt
upper courses. Original plan of single range, now with mid C19
parallel adjoining range at rear forming a double pile. Two
storeys and attic. Two gable dormers with horizontal sliding
sashes with small panes. Symmetrical facade of five flush frame
hung sashes of sixteen panes each. Central doorway with
doorcase with flat hood on C-scroll brackets. Ground floor
windows are similar but have segmental arches. Interior: Plan
of narrower hall and stairbay flanked by principal rooms.
Staircase contemporary with mid C19 addition. Open string with
square section balusters and toads-back mahogany rail. Two
bedrooms have early-mid C19 cast-iron fireplaces.
