Church of St Cuthbert

Headstone. Dated 1794 in memory of John White. Beerstone. Upright slab standing
approximately 1.2 metres high with shaped head with scrolls each corner. The top of
the front is carved with a winged cherub and below is a fielded pathel. The first
word of the inscription is in Gothic lettering, the rest in Roman serif upper and
lower case lettering, and it records the death of John White in 1794.
