Cottage. Late C18. Timber framed, roughcast rendered and long straw thatch
gabled roof. C19 grey brick stacks to ridge and end. Three bay plan with
original entry, now blocked, to end of centre bay. One storey and attic.
Two formers. C19 fenestration of four windows, including two sixteen pane
flung sashes. Doorway now at rear. Additions at the rear are C19. Inside:
slender framing of softwood with small inglenook. In 1842 the cottage was
occupied by Henry Chappell and described as tenements and garden.
