3 houses. Mid and late C18. Hammer-dressed stone, mainly
watershot, with a graduated stone slate roof. 2-bay 2-storey
range of earlier date at right-angles to a 2-bay 3-storey
range. Bay 2 of the front is the earliest part and has a
door with square-cut surround, a 5-light recessed flat-faced
mullion ground floor window and 6-light first floor window.
Bay 1 has a 6-light recessed chamfered mullion window with
king mullion and a 3-light recessed flat-faced first floor
window. Quoins. Gable chimney stacks, one rebuilt in brick.
The range to rear (Nos. 45 and 47) itself built in 2 phases,
has square-cut and dressed door surrounds, 5, 6 and 7-light
recessed flat-faced stone mullion windows and ridge chimney
stacks. No. 45 is double-depth but the rear on the upper
floors is now part of No. 49.
