House, tenanted at time of survey (1987). C18 or earlier. Rendered stone rubble and
cob, thatched roof with plain ridge hipped at left end, gabled at right end; right
end stack, rear left lateral stack largely rebuilt in concrete block.
Plan: Single depth plan, 2 rooms wide, with a central entrance facing the stair and a
rear right dairy under a lean-to roof.
Exterior: 2 storeys. Asymmetrical 4-window front with a C20 glazed lean-to porch on
the front in the centre. 2 C20 ground floor timber casement windows, 4 first floor
windows, the left hand C20, the others are earlier 2- and 3-light timber casements
with glazing bars.
Interior: Not inspected at time of survey but said not to have exposed carpentry
(information from owner). An interior inspection and examination of the roof
timbers might necessitate revising the suggested date.
