Rawtenstall and Bacup, 1851 and 1878-81; engineer in 1851, J.S. Perring.
Rock-faced gritstone retaining wall with dressed band and parapet, a
rectangular pier at each end and one in the centre, and between these
2 parabolic arches with rusticated voussoirs. History: second
tunnel added for doubling of track 1878-81.
