House, at one time used as a public house. Mid C18.
Hammer-dressed stone with graduated stone slate roof. 4
bays, 2 storeys and 1 room deep. 3, 1 and 4-light ground
floor windows with recessed flat-faced stone mullions.
Between them are 2 doors each with square-cut stone
surround and a canopy, the right one enclosed by a C20
porch. 2, 2, 1 and 4-light flat-faced stone mullion windows
to first floor. Gable stacks heightened in brick. Lean-to
against right gable with sash windows above. A small 3-
light window to the rear is carved out of a monolithic piece
of stone.
