Road bridge over the River Clyst. Early - mid c19. Coursed blocks of local grey-
coloured sandstone with purple-coloured conglomerate stone ashlar voussoirs and
dripcourse; the underside of the arch is brick. Small single span bridge with a low
segmental arch springing from vertical abutments. There is a plain projecting
dripcourse at road level and it follows the ramp of the road. The plain parapet has
rounded coping and it curves outwards each end to terminal piers which project
externally.
